A few days after the announcement of Dying Light: The Beast, and the revelation that it will come free for the Ultimate Edition campaign, Techland Studios announced that September 30th will be the last day for the Ultimate Edition digital version of the game on digital stores, and it will be completely removed from digital stores after this date.
The game was first released in February 2022, and the new game, Dying Light: The Beast, will be released in 2025 as a standalone game after being a story expansion linked to the second part. Owners of the Ultimate version will get it for free, and on the occasion of the version being pulled from stores, the developer revealed that those who actually purchased the version before it was pulled from the store will not be affected and will be able to download and try it completely freely.
