The Red Faction first-person shooter series that achieved great popularity during the PlayStation 2 generation was set to return to us again, according to media reports, with a new game under development at the studios of the publishing company Embracer Group.
However, with the financial problems that the company faced during the past two years, this was one of the games that were cancelled. The new game was under development by a new team, “Fishlabs studio”, which included the main elements behind the original game, and the project was cancelled in November of last year, with most of the development team being laid off before it was later closed.
