The Fuzion Xbox Testing channel on YouTube published a video showing the possibility of running the Starfield game on the Xbox Series S with a frame rate of up to 120 frames per second, but in an unofficial manner.
The method is explained in the video, using a group of Mods provided by the game community, some of which reduce the level of detail in the environments around the player.

The frame rate also drops to 60 frames in crowded city areas, or during massive battles. The mods used include a mod that increases the maximum frame rate limit on the platform.
