This week, Ubisoft officially unveiled Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, the new part of the famous action game series in which the events will take place in Japan.
The reveal of the game witnessed anger from fans of Japanese games, especially since the hero of the game is a dark-skinned samurai, and even if he was mentioned in history before, that era witnessed with it many Japanese names that Ubisoft ignored to choose a character whose historical role was significantly different, and some described him as a dark-skinned young man. Killing the Japanese is something that the Japanese do not see as logical in that time period, and that Ubisoft chose a story that does not fit the time period at all.
