Naoki Hamaguchi, director of Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, wrote on Twitter that the game’s high ratings, which were lifted from the media embargo yesterday, were good news for him and the development team. He also thanked the development team and everyone who contributed to the game being produced in its current form.
He added that getting an average rating of more than 90/100 for the game was one of the development team’s goals while working on the game.
