When asked about a possible remake of Devil May Cry, he described the idea as sounding attractive. However, the director is also interested in working on several other games, including Okami and Bayonetta.
I would like to create such games with modern graphics.
He admitted that many of these games have already gotten remasters and HD versions, but Hideki Kamiya still finds a reason to work on remaking them. The director also hinted that he will make changes to the gameplay in any new version of the game if there is one.
