Speaking about the future of the PlayStation, Mr. Kenchiro Yoshida, Sony’s CEO, said:
“Users will be able to seamlessly play their favorite games wherever computing exists. PlayStation will remain our main product, and we will expand our experiences on PC, mobile, and the cloud.”
Which means that the rumors about Playstation’s intention to focus on a business model similar to Xbox were true.
