A report from Kotaku revealed that the game developer, Behavior Interactive Studio, developer of Dead by Daylight, announced the layoff of 45 of its employees, announcing in a statement that economic conditions were the reason.
“Recently, changing market conditions have necessitated adjusting the scope of many of the studio’s projects. In these situations, we always prefer to reassign talent to other projects. Unfortunately, this option is not always available to us. These departures represent less than 3% of our total workforce.
It is noteworthy that the studio itself had announced in November that the number of Dead by Daylight players had exceeded 60 million players.
