Today, a group of employees from the Loat Boys Interactive development team announced their layoffs from the team affiliated with Gearbox Entertainment, which falls under the Embracer Group umbrella.
According to the former producer on the team, Jared Pace, these layoffs included a significant percentage of employees, and these layoffs included all sections of the team at all levels, meaning we are talking about layoffs that included beginners with experience all the way to administrators and in various departments such as marketing, development, and quality assurance.
Lost Boys Interactive is known for its assistance in the development process for games such as Diablo IV and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The team’s number of employees exceeded 400 when it was acquired by Gearbox in 2022, and we do not know how many employees have been laid off currently.
