GameStop announced today its intention to close its NFTs store, which it launched in mid-2022, and users’ ability to buy, sell, or manufacture these non-fungible items will be canceled on February 2nd.
Players will be able to access and sell NFTs through other platforms. The decision to stop the store is due to the ambiguity of laws and regulatory aspects regarding the space of digital currencies and related technologies. Many major companies in this field have recently fallen due to suspicious and illegal practices.
