Over the past years, we have witnessed a lot of competition between software and technology giants Microsoft and Apple to occupy the top spot on the list of companies with the most market value, and now Microsoft has been able to return to the top spot with its value reaching $2.89 trillion.
Microsoft witnessed an increase of 3% in the last weeks of trading, while Apple declined by the same value, bringing the company’s overall value down to $2.87 trillion, in second place behind Microsoft, and with the cat-and-mouse game continuing between them during the coming period.
