The Idle Sloth Twitter account revealed that it had monitored the appointment of The Coalition studio, responsible for the Gears of War series, for 8 new employees, including an environment designer, a lighting designer, and an assistant producer, which means that the studio may be at the beginning of a new phase of development for one of its major projects.
In fact, there have been several rumors that the studio’s next game might not be Gears of War, but last month a studio employee wrote in response to a tweet about Gears of War, “See you in 2024,” so it’s likely we’ll be in for a new announcement. About the game coming soon.
