The Virtual Serial Port Driver creates virtual serial ports and connects them in pairs with a virtual null modem cable. Applications from both ends of the pair will be able to exchange data so that everything written to the first port will appear in the second and vice versa. All virtual serial ports work and behave exactly like hardware ones, emulating all their settings. You can create as many pairs of virtual ports as you like, and there won’t be a lack of serial ports or a clutter of extra hardware on your desk.
