Developer Sunnyside Games has announced that the Metroidvania Nocturnal II has been renamed YTASH: A Nocturnal Poem, with confirmation that it will be released this year on PC and Nintendo Switch.

The reason for the name change is that this version is more of a spin-off of the title than a sequel and the title refers to the poem around which the story revolves and which a new gameplay mechanic will be introduced around.
