Indiana Jones director Jerk Gustafsson revealed in the game’s trailer that the game’s environments are linear with some freedom to explore and side content through semi-open areas. The game will allow you to return to these places constantly if you want, and you will find new content every time you return.

But the game is generally considered a linear game, because there are many internal environments that you will not be able to return to once you finish them. The creative director of the game said that the game will have hidden elements and things that can be explored even in these linear environments.

The game will be released on December 9 on PC/Xbox/Xbox Game Pass and in spring 2025 on PS5.
