In December of last year, Square Enix announced two expansions for Final Fantasy 16, the first, Echoes of the Fallen, which was launched at that time, and the second, The Rising Tide, scheduled for release in spring 2024, and with spring approaching, it was announced today that details would be shared. Updates about the expansion at the PAX East event scheduled for March 22, i.e. next month.
Through Twitter, the game account announced the presence of Square Enix with a Final Fantasy 16 panel at the PAX East event in less than a month from now, on March 22, at 8:30 AM PT. The panel will be attended by producer Naoki Yoshida, The Rising Tide director Takeo Kujiraoka, and game localization director Michael Christopher Koji Fox, all of whom will discuss the upcoming expansion.
