Last October saw the release of Super Mario Bros. Wonder for the Nintendo Switch. The game, which sold nearly 12 million copies within two months of its release, is the fastest-selling Mario game in its history.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa indicated during a meeting with the company’s investors that the game sold at a faster pace than any previous Mario game. The good reception of the game from critics, as well as its support for cooperative play, helped the player a lot during the previous holiday season.
