Bethesda’s official Twitter account announced that Starfield will receive an official update for the PC versions, to support AMD’s performance and frame optimization technology, FSR 3.0.
You might think that the technology was actually invited, and this information is not completely wrong, as the technology was supported unofficially through the mods that the game obtained after launch. The mods, of course, do not provide the level we expect from the official update, and cause some problems, not to mention the difficulty of installing them at first.
So it’s a welcome thing of course. The account did not mention a date for this update but confirmed that it is the next one. It is scheduled to be launched this month.
