Through Sony’s announcement of its financial results for the last quarter, the company announced that it reduced its sales expectations for the PlayStation 5 device from 25 million units by the end of the fiscal year to 21 million.
The company also confirmed that the PlayStation 5 device is now entering the late stage of its life cycle, with expectations that its sales will decline annually during the coming period.
