According to a new report from Reuters, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa was asked during the meeting to review the company’s financial results about the famous game World, which achieved tremendous success in a very short period, but raised controversy about the amount of similarity between it and the Pokemon games.
The Pokemon Company had previously announced the start of investigations regarding the similarity to this game, and Furukawa’s response was that they would take appropriate measures against violators of intellectual property rights laws, without sharing any updates about the ongoing investigation and the expected date of its results.
