With EA announcing the layoff of 5% of its employees with the cancellation of a number of projects and the desire to move away from the company’s licensed titles and focus on its own titles, the company confirmed in an official statement to the media that it had not canceled the Iron Man and Black Panther games that were licensed by Marvel.
The Iron Man project is under development by Motive Studio and is being developed using the Unreal Engine 5 engine, while the Black Panther project is being developed by the new development team Cliffhanger Games, and neither project currently has a release date.
