Microsoft Flight Simulator is getting a new expansion in collaboration with the upcoming movie Dune: Part Two. The expansion is available for free starting today, and brings players into the harsh world of Arrakis. Players can take advantage of the iconic Ornithopter plane in the Dune setting to explore the skies of Arrakis.
Players will be given control of the Royal Atreides Ornithopter – a special, high-performance variant of the Ornithopter featured in the film – allowing players to take advantage of the plane’s high speed and precise maneuvering capabilities as they explore the Dunes of Arrakis.
The expansion includes three tutorials to teach players how to take off, land, and free fall with the new plane. After completing the tutorials, players can then experience six new activities: five time trials, and a rescue mission involving a massive sandstorm.
