Square Enix CEO Takashi Kiryu indicated in a new interview that his company intends to reduce the number of its projects to focus on providing higher quality games moving forward.
Kiryu, who has been working with the company since the year 2000, believes that the company should focus on providing a high level of games instead of a large number of productions, and the company’s internal options will be clearer during the coming period by choosing high-level projects at the expense of their large number.
