We recently heard rumors that work is underway on a remake of the first part of the Metal Gear Solid series of stealth games, with this project being described as the most ambitious project that Konami will release in the coming years.
According to Spanish news leaker Areajugones, work on this remake began a few years ago and is still in an early stage of the development process. Focus will be placed on this project and increased efforts will be made to work on it after the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake is released, noting also that The remake will be exclusive to the Sony home PlayStation 5 device, although the Delta remake will be released on various platforms.
