Minecraft Legends will not receive any more updates

Mojang, the developer of Minecraft Legends, announced less than a year after the game’s launch that it would not receive any more updates. Mojang explained that the team “will now step back from development,” with no more “new content” planned for Legends.

This news comes just over a month after the game’s latest and “biggest” update that brought “a host of improvements” and less than a year after Minecraft Legends’ release date. Although there will be no more DLC or expanded patches, Mojang wrote that “the fun doesn’t stop here.”

Developer says:

“Existing Lost Legends Challenges will still be available for free, and you will still be able to reap the rewards if you are victorious.”

Mojang also clarified that it “will continue to provide technical support to players” and “will not remove any functions or features from the game.” Minecraft Legends multiplayer, including co-op and PvP, will also remain.
