Ubisoft has announced that its new game, Project U, will be receiving a closed PC test, running from February 1 to February 6. Registration is open until January 25, at 2pm CET, for the session-based cooperative shooter, which sees players battling waves of… Machines.
Those who register have the opportunity to participate in a technical test lasting 1-2 hours before the closed test. While the content available for the latter is unknown, only players in the US, UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Poland can participate.
Participants can invite up to five friends to play via Ubisoft Connect. Since the closed test is subject to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), no content will be shared (although leaks wouldn’t be out of the ordinary).
Project U was officially announced last year, and is said to have begun development as Pathfinder. Ubisoft has not revealed any gameplay footage, release window, or platforms other than PC.
