We Have Known For A Long Time That The Development Process For GTA 6 Has Reached An Advanced Stage Thanks To The Massive Leaks That Revealed To Us What Is Going On Behind The Corridors Of Rockstar, And Reassured Us That… GTA 6 Is Already In Development, And It Gave Us A Glimpse Of What The Long-Awaited Game Will Look Like For Years.
And NowRockstar Has Finally Announced A Few Days Ago That It Will Release The First Teaser For The New Part Of The Series In Early Next December, So We Decided To Show This The Article Highlights The Most Important Things We Want To See In GTA 6, Some Of Which Are Based On What Was LeakedRecentlyAnd Others Based On What We Players Would Like To Have In Our Hands.
Will GTA 6 Witness Another Type Of Cooperative Play?
Rockstar Sets Dividing Lines Between Single-Player “Solo” And “Multiplayer” And Has No Middle Ground Between Them. GTA Did Not Define In Its Dictionary Emergency Cooperative Play “Drop-In Drop-Out Co-Op”, Through Which It Is Possible More Players Can Join And Leave The Game At Any Time And Easily, With The Exception Of The Hidden Mode Deleted From The San Andreas Part. But According To A Recent Leak,It Looks Like GTA 6 Will Be Another Exception When It Comes To Co-Op Gameplay.
We Know From Leaks That The Story Of GTA 6 Will IntroduceTwo Playable Characters In The Style Of Bonnie And Clyde – After An American Criminal Couple Who Lived A Romantic Life Filled With Theft And Murder While… The Great Depression-, So It Would Be Great To Include Emergency Co-Op Play For At Least Some Side Missions Such As Robberies, And Move Away A Little From The Chaotic Multiplayer That We Are Familiar With With GTA Online, And This Is What IHope< A I=4>Everyone Who Wants To Play GTA 6 With A Friend.
What Makes Us Optimistic About Emergency Cooperative Play Is What Was Revealed In The Videos Leaked Last Year, Which Showed Some Cooperative Play Mechanisms, Including “Revive” And “Suicide,” Which Requires The Presence Of Another Player Or Character. Rockstar Must Add Revolutionary Features To The GTA Series After All These Years. It Cannot Boast By Saying: “Look At The Size Of The World And The Details Of The Map” Because GTA Is Not Currently The Superior Series In That.
More Freedom While Carrying Out Tasks
Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Long Been Criticized For Its Mission Design Which Limits Players’ Freedom While Undertaking These Missions, Forcing Them To Have One Way To Complete The Mission Or Else The Result Will Be Certain Failure, Such As Being Discovered On A Stealth Mission. Although GTA 5 Was Better Than The Western Game In This Regard, We Expect GTA 6 To Avoid Making This Mistake By Giving Players More Freedom While Performing Missions.
Most Of The Missions In RockstarGames Are Single-Player With The Exception Of The “Heist” Missions, And We Would Very Much Like The Open-Ended Orientation Of The Heist Missions To Be Generalized To All Missions, So That What Is Known As “Mission Failed” Is Canceled Unless You Die, And Stops Showing Routes On The Mini-Map, And Allows You The Freedom To Discover Your Own Way To Kill A Target Or Rob A Place.
We Should Not Be Too Optimistic About The Issue Of Generalizing The Freedom To Perform These Tasks, But We Expect That GTA 6 Will Offer More Freedom Than The Previous Parts, Especially Since Rockstar Has Recently Begun To Pay Great Attention To Robbery Missions, And These Are Complex, Multi-Part Story Missions That Begin With Planning The Robbery And End With Its Implementation And Achieving… Big Money, And Perhaps The Ideas For These Missions May Move To Other Missions, As Our Demands As Players Have Increased And Rockstar Must Evolve The Mission Design To Keep Up With Our Requirements.
Alternate Paths To The GTA 6 Story
Rockstar Has Already Created Alternative Endings That Rely Heavily On Player Decisions As The Story Nears Its End In The Final Two Parts Of The GTA Series. We Don’t Want To GTA 6 Continues In The Same Vein, But We Would Like To Extend The Alternative Paths From The Beginning Of The Story Until The Last Lines Of It, Including Tasks And Characters, As Happens In Other Role-Playing Games Such As Cyberpunk 2077.
We Are Not Talking About Just Different Ways To Complete A Mission Or Something Similar To The “Honor System” Offered By Red Dead Redemption 2, But Rather The Freedom Of The Player To Choose His Criminal Affiliations, Such As Choosing Between Killing One Gang Leader And Another, Or Choosing Between Betraying His Friends Or… Loyalty To Them, And That These Decisions Have An Impact On The Events Of The Story, So That Each Player Creates The Story Scenario He Likes.
Rockstar Always Presents The GTA Series As Simulating The World Of Crime From Behind The Scenes, Although It Does Not Provide Freedom In Determining The Course Of The Story, And This Applies To The Endings. The Alternative Is Obligatory, And It Rarely Shows Interest In Interactive And Optional Narratives. GTA 6 Can Be A Realistic Reflection Of The World Of Crime With Its Complexities If It Provides A Story With Complex Paths, Which We Cannot Rely Much On Achieving, However.
An Expansion Of The Story Like GTA 5
Some Find That Expanding The Story Has Become Something Old-Fashioned From The Past Decade, Although Some Games Currently Still Offer It, The Most Important Of Which Are Cyberpunk 2077 And Horizon : Forbidden West And Ghost Of Tsushima, But It’s Not As Common As It Used To Be. Rockstar Has Provided Great Story Expansions Before, Including The Ballad Of Gay Tony And The Lost And The Damned, Which Provided Great Alternative Stories For The World Of GTA 4.
We Really Want Rockstar To Tell Us More Stories In The Worlds They Create. Imagine How Happy We Would Be If We Got An Expansion For Red Dead Redemption 2 That Made Us Take On The Role Of Other Gang MembersVan Der LindeAfter Her Collapse, Say Sadie Alder. Rockstar Has A Proud Past That Witnesses It Providing Great Characters And Wonderful Expansions, Whether Highlighting Other Angles Of Old Stories For These Characters Or Drawing New Stories For Them.
Unfortunately, There Is No Guarantee That We Will See An Expansion Of The Story Of GTA 6 After Its Release, Especially Since Rockstar Has Recently Made Multiplayer Content Its Top Priority, As This Is The Best Way To Make Money In The Long Term, And It Seems That It Will Not Change Its Policy Easily. As Much As We Know That Getting A Story Expansion In GTA 6 Is Difficult, As Much As We Would Be Surprised If Rockstar Did The Opposite Of What We Expect, And Certainly We, The Audience, Would Be Very Happy With This Change.
