Sega's results for the first quarter of the fiscal year fell below expectations

Today, Sega announced its intention to lay off a number of employees of the Creative Assembly development team, which recently announced the cancellation of its next huge project, Hyenas, last September, which is a service first-person shooter game that the team was working on and was almost ready for release.

Sega also confirmed that it is canceling a number of projects that have not yet been officially announced. These decisions come after negative results for the company in its European division and changes in the company’s administrative decisions.
