FastCopy is a small but very handy utility from Japanese developers, which is useful for quickly copying and deleting files. In addition to conveniently deleting or copying the specified files, this program also allows you to synchronize and move data. This tool is especially useful for working with large files that are not always processed in standard ways.
The implemented filtering function turned out to be not superfluous, in which you can specify additional requirements for files, for example, containing certain Unicode characters in the name or the number of characters exceeding the set limit.
The FastCopy interface is minimalistic, and although there is no Russian localization, it is quite easy to understand the basic principles and capabilities of the application.
Functions
• It supports UNICODE file paths and more than MAX_PATH (260 characters).
• Because it uses multithreading for read/write/verify, overlapped I/O, direct I/O, it provides maximum device speed.
• It supports an include/exclude filter such as the UNIX wildcard.
• It works fast and doesn’t consume resources because MFC is not used. (Developed using Win32 API and C Runtime only)
