Daemon Tools is a compact yet powerful CD/DVD drive emulator that allows you to emulate absolutely any disc image created by a disc copying utility (eg CloneCD). In the same way, audio CDs or DVDs copied to the hard drive can be “inserted” into this emulator.
The program works through the system tray menu, through which you get access to all commands. Here you can select the number of added virtual drives, images to mount on each of them. For each drive, you can select any letter of the English alphabet that is not already in use. Also, each virtual device can have its own region code. It is worth noting that connecting and disconnecting virtual drives occurs almost instantly and without the need for a reboot. The capabilities of the program can be expanded with the help of additional modules, which are produced in large quantities by third-party developers.
