Recovery Toolbox for DWG is a powerful data recovery tool for damaged DWG files based on a fast and efficient proprietary engine. The interface of the program is a step-by-step wizard that allows you to recover data in just a few simple steps. To use the program, you do not need any skills or experience in recovery – you just need to follow the instructions on the screen and wait for the analysis of the damaged file to complete, as well as for determining the data to be recovered and saving it. To speed up this process, you can specify the version of the recovered DWG file yourself, otherwise the program will take more time to analyze it and configure the recovery algorithm.
The data recovery process itself may take some time, depending on the size of the file and the performance of your system. For greater convenience, you can minimize the program window and switch to other tasks. Upon completion of the process, the program window will be maximized and brought to the foreground. Recovery Toolbox for DWG will allow you to view the contents of a damaged file before saving it – you can move, rotate and scale the drawing using the keyboard and/or mouse buttons.
The program exports the recovered data directly to AutoCAD. If it is not installed on your computer, you will see a corresponding warning. If you have several versions of the program installed, you will be able to select the version to which Recovery Toolbox for DWG should export data. At the very end of the recovery procedure, you will see a detailed report on the program’s operation.
If the recoverable DWG file has been damaged too much and cannot be recovered automatically, you can always use the Send source file command (Send the file to developers). After receiving the file, we will analyze the structure of the file and try to restore the data manually, which we will let you know shortly. We also use this opportunity to improve the recovery algorithm used by the program.
Note:
